About the Membership Dues
The FVP Meetup has membership dues to cover the cost of using Meetup.com ($144/year) and to off-set activity costs throughout the year. Dues are collected and managed by the Organizer, who makes a bi-annual report to the group.
* Membership dues are $12.00 per Meetup PROFILE per year. You do not need to pay for individual family members or children unless they have a separate profile for this group.
* Payment may be made via Paypal, by check, or by cash. To make payment by check or cash, please contact the Organizer.
* Excess funds will be used to off-set activities throughout the year. This may include pre-purchase of materials or tickets for events, and the funds will be replaced when attending members pay for their attendance. If a member RSVP's yes, and does not attend, the funds are lost.
* An accounting of the group funds will be provided bi-annually by the Organizer.
* Members are asked to pay the $12 membership after their first meetup or after one month of membership.
* Any member that has not been brought up-to-date will be removed from the group.
* Any member that has been removed for not paying membership dues may re-join and pay regular membership dues (ie, there is no penalty).
* Questions regarding membership dues should be directed to the Organizer.
