Meetup Groups meet face-to-face to pursue hobbies, network, get support, make friends, find playgroups or even change the world.
Get on the Internet to get off the Internet!
You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
Come Spend an evening of discussion amongst those who practice or are interested in ethical non monogamy. Our conversation topics range from relationships and the challenges of polyamory to local cons and dress codes in the modern age. It's an open and interesting group that is family and poly-newbie friendly.
What is a typical meetup like?
Generally, we meet in the back of the Wayward where's there's plenty of seats and a large table. There is a small "reserved for Polyamory Meetup" sign usually and there are usually a few tables pushed together and folks casually chatting. The size of the group determines how many conversations will happen at the same time. There is never a set topic, but we are always willing to have a discussion started.
What is Polyamory? (definitionfrom the polyamory.org)
Polyamory means "loving more than
one". This love may be sexual, emotional, spiritual, or any
combination thereof, according to the desires and agreements of
the individuals involved, but you needn't wear yourself out
trying to figure out ways to fit fondness for apple pie, or
filial piety, or a passion for the Saint Paul Saints baseball
club into it. "Polyamorous" is also used as a descriptive term by
people who are open to more than one relationship even if they
are not currently involved in more than one. (Heck, some are
involved in less than one.) Some people think the definition is
a bit loose, but it's got to be fairly roomy to fit the wide
range of poly arrangements out there.

Who is Welcome at the Meetup? ?
We are an inclusive bunch. Have questions regarding polyamory, just supportive of the lifestyle in general but not personally interested? You are welcome to come by.
Have kids? bring 'em along! the Wayward is a kid-friendly space and we're a kid-friendly bunch!
A note: the Meetup is intended as a community building event, for those who identify as poly and those who are interested in polyamory. We strongly encourage all members to do their networking in person at the Meetup. Please be aware of this in your on-site communications with other Meetup members.
Inappropriate behavior, including propositioning Meetup members in any way through this site, will cause offenders to be banned from the event and this site.
